Dan & Amanda
Wedding at the John James Audubon Center
This wedding. You guys, I was in heaven. When it started raining on my way to their wedding I immediately got nervous because their venue is gorgeous and I was planning on getting a ton of outdoor photos. When I got there and asked Amanda how she felt about getting some photos in the rain I was thrilled that she was SO DOWN. She and Dan grabbed an umbrella and off we went. To be honest, rainy photos are hands down some of my favorite and this wedding is a perfect example of why. From the perfect lighting to the mud at the bottom of Amanda’s dress I think it only added to the beauty of their day. As if that wasn’t enough, I also loved the boho style of this wedding. It was so unique. Instead of table numbers, they used various beautifully illustrated birds that tied into the venue perfectly as it’s a bird conservatory. Ok, I am done gushing. I clearly loved this couple and I loved this wedding. Congratulations, Dan & Amanda!
(A quick note to all of my couples who experience rain on their wedding day: I know it’s not ideal but please trust me when I say if you embrace it and go out there and get wet, it will be SO worth it!)
