Meet the girl behind the camera

Hi, I’m Lauryn. I absolutely love what I do. I get to photograph rad couples on the best day of their lives. I try to keep it fun & I think I am pretty cool, though my daughters like to tell me otherwise!

My goal is to tell your story in a unique way by showcasing all of the small details and moments. I am obsessed with candid shots you will constantly hear me saying "just pretend I'm not here!". My sister has called me the photography ninja because I am often jumping into bushes to get my shot (you will see what I mean if you work with me, haha). Oh, and I will be ON the dance floor with you singing along to every word at your reception. You've been warned.

You can rest assured that I will be right there with you to help pose you for portraits, carry your dress, fix your hair, and so much more. I like to have fun and keep it light but I'm also organized. I create a custom timeline for each one of my couples so you can just let loose and enjoy your day! I'll keep us on track so you can focus on what matters.

Real moments

Almost all of my couples say the same thing to me. "We're awkward in front of the camera" or "we don't know what we're doing." I can promise you, you are NOT awkward! I will work with you to get you feeling comfortable both with me and my giant lens in your faces. I will give you guidance and then let you do what you do best, just be yourselves. Often times this means cheesy jokes or an absurd request to loosen you up and make you laugh. Cause let's be honest - those laughter shots are THE BEST.

A few fun facts:

I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters (we have no idea where they get it from!) & two fur babies that are pretty cute too.

My husband and I are both twins because we’re nerds like that.

I am super short. I need a step stool to reach my kitchen cabinets. You will see me on a chair to get dancing photos at your reception.

I used to be a graphic designer, but I followed my dream and started my own photography company. It was the scariest and best decision I’ve ever made.
