Moody Philadelphia Engagement

This moody engagement session was right up my alley. Dhara & Jedrek are seriously the coolest. When they reached out about their engagement session, they knew exactly what they wanted - dark, wooded, photos by candlelight. Wissahickon Valley Park was the perfect location to bring their vision to life. The greenery of the woods complemented their dark aesthetic. We just had fun with this session, they even brought a bottle of champagne and popped it for a little toast. (I always support a champagne popping shot so if you're on the fence, go ahead and bring a bottle haha!) We chose to schedule their session during golden hour and as the sun set we got out some candles and had fun with candlelit shots.

I really enjoyed hanging out and getting to know these two. I cannot wait for their wedding at Parque Ridley Creek this Fall!
