Moody wedding at Parque Ridley Creek
One of my favorite things about photographing couples with an awesome sense of style is watching them completely ignore the rules of what a wedding is “supposed” to look like. You don't have to fit into a wedding aesthetic. Jedrek & Dhara wanted a gothic/romantic/woodsy vibe. They achieved this by letting their personalities show up in the way they dressed, the way they celebrated, and the overall feeling of the day.
Jedrek and Dhara looked stunning in full Hindu attire for their ceremony among the beautiful stone staircases on the grounds of Parque Ridley Creek. Their sweet ceremony included Hindu and Polish traditions, perfectly representing them.
After the ceremony, it was time for an outfit change. These two retired their colorful outfits for something a little darker. In head-to-toe black, they embraced their gothic side and, in my humble opinion, totally killed it. Dhara's stunning dress from Adrienne Couture paired with her tattoos and blue hair was a VIBE. Jedrek's black suit with pops of red perfectly accented her. We took full advantage of golden hour and the beauty of Parque, getting shots all around the mansion. The day came to an end with an epic party that was nothing less than I expected it to be! Lots of love, joy, dancing and maybe a bit of metal. Haha.
Overall, I adored everything about this wedding. Jedrek and Dhara - you did it right. I am so glad I got to celebrate with you.
