Rustic DIY wedding
I truly feel like I made two new friends at this wedding. Julie & Wes are so friendly/warm/lovely/welcoming/amazing.. I could go on. From the very start, I knew that this fall wedding was going to be special. They got married on Julie's family property, which had a ton of nature, beautiful greenery and farm animals! When I first arrived, Julie and I just walked around and she showed me all of the animals. I am a huge animal lover so it was pretty awesome, but what was more awesome was how Julie instantly felt like an old bestie I was catching up with. (When I first walked in the door she gave me a bracelet she made for me!) These humans just radiate kindness.
From the start it was clear that Julie & Wes prioritized their wedding photos over everything else. With an incredibly flexible timeline, we were able to fully explore all of the beauty this property had to offer. Julie looked stunning in her Kitty Chen lace wedding dress. She incorporated a perfect pop of fall colors using her florals. They had an intimate outdoor ceremony in front of the woods in the front yard with only their nearest and dearest present. Afterward, they celebrated with family and friends at the local firehouse where Wesley works. They did things their own way and everything was perfect. This day was so sweet and I loved every minute. Congrats, Julie & Wes!
