Spring wedding at SteelStacks

Steph is an old friend from college so when she reached out, I was more than excited to get to capture her big day. Unbeknownst to me, she was marrying one of my OTHER old college friends from my community college days - small world! Needless to say, this wedding was an absolute delight.

They started the day at their super sweet house in Bethlehem. Steph got her hair & makeup done by the talented ladies at Image Hair Studio before getting into the stunning dress that SHE MADE. You read that right. This wedding was a true labor of love. Steph not only made her wedding dress, but she also made a jumpsuit for the reception, the bridesmaids' outfits, the guys' ties and their pocket squares using a fun floral pattern. She did such an amazing job! It all came together perfectly. I just love a creative bride!

Once the morning shenanigans were wrapped up, we headed to SteelStacks for photos where we lucked out hard with the weather. It was perfectly overcast, which gave us free rein of the trestle without having to contend with harsh sunlight. The wind was also going crazy, giving us the chance to show off all of Steph's hard work with some fun shots of the dress blowing in the wind.

After the photos, Steph & Kyle had an incredibly sweet ceremony in the visitor center, followed by the most fun reception in the Blast Furnace room! Instead of a formal dinner, they had a buffet of bar food! I'm talking soft pretzels, hummus, chips, dips, etc. It was truly amazing, I think more people should do that - it was a hit haha. Their bomb cake was from Milk Bar and looked so good I still have the urge to go get one for myself (sweet tooth queen over here). Not to mention their homemade cookie bar. These two had everything! The cherry on top was the music at the reception. As an elder emo, I truly appreciated Steph & Kyle's playlist. Don at Moments & Memories absolutely killed it and played all of the bangers. It was so much fun!!

Overall, this wedding felt like one big fun celebration with old friends! I am so happy I got to be a part of it.
