Modern laid-back wedding at the rodale institute, Kutztown pa

When I booked with Lauren and Alec, I was beyond excited. Not only were we on the same page with the moody photography vibe they were looking for but I truly could not have asked for a more cool, laid-back couple. Their amazing engagement session at Columcille Megalith park set the bar high for my expectations and their wedding did not disappoint. I mean, if I could describe my dream couple these two would be pretty dang close. Their getting-ready photos were taken in the front renovated barn where they got ready together that morning. Ingrid over at BB DeCheine Beauty Co. did such a great job on Lauren's bridal hair and makeup. We were outside in the elements all day and not a hair out of place! Lauren looked flawless all day. Another flawless aspect of this day were the wedding details! The floral invites from Minted matched perfectly with her stunning bouquet made by Shawn Brown of the Rodale Insitute. I always head to my weddings early to give myself more time for the morning detail photos and I am so glad I did because I was going a little crazy, haha.

As a Lehigh Valley wedding photographer, the Rodale Institute in Kutztown has quickly become one of my favorite venues. We had full freedom to roam the grounds in the golf cart and hop out at the many different locations I wanted to take photos at. Our options included flower fields, ponds, and rustic old beautiful barns paired with tons of greenery which served as the perfect backdrop to Lauren's modern fall aesthetic. They just went with the flow and while I still had my timeline in my hand (of course, always checking my timeline hahaha) the day felt so relaxing and not at all rushed. They really did it right! Everything came together perfectly, it was a great wedding! Oh, and the cherry on top of this wedding cake perfection? LAUREN WAS THE DJ! It just doesn't get any cooler than that.
