Woodsy wedding at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
There’s just something special about a wedding in the woods—it feels easy, natural, and completely stress-free. That’s exactly the vibe Jackie & Eric created for their big day at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. This was the perfect backdrop—tall trees and nature trails overlooking the water. Not to mention the adorable animals (including a teeny tiny screech owl that was so sweet).
From the start, this wedding was all about keeping things fun and easy. Jackie & Eric kept it small, inviting only those who mean the most. Their lighthearted ceremony was officiated by a friend and was filled with love & laughter.
Following the ceremony their guests were welcomed back to their house where they could celebrate properly. They encouraged their guests to bring swimsuits so they could all just have fun and go swimming. Everyone hung out, laughed, had margaritas and enjoyed the kind of day that felt more like a pool party than a formal wedding. I loved every minute! Congrats, Jackie & Eric!
